Our next quarterly membership meeting is scheduled for September 13th.
Please attend to learn more about what progress the board has made
toward getting us an emergency exit and evacuation alerts. Coffee
and donuts will be served.
The process of selecting a new board is open to receive Bio’s.
It’s been an honor for all of us on 2024/2025 RRVE Executive board to
serve the neighbors in the valley. It is now time to pass the torch to
the next group of neighbors willing to step up and serve. Also, this
board has been working diligently in procuring an emergency exit
route and a tower/siren for fire emergencies. This Board is dedicated to
making a smooth transition and will be available to help educate,
steer and advise the next executive board members on current
projects overlapping to next year. We say this knowing that some
people may be reluctant to be on the board because they don’t feel
they are experienced enough, but if you’re vested in this community, if
you’re proud of this community and if you moved here and decided to
stay here, then you have everything to contribute to the 2026-2027
RRVE Executive board. We want to reach out to anyone and everyone
who ever thought about being on the board and making the valley a
better place for everyone. This is your opportunity to stand up and be
a leader in our community of “Rancho Ruidoso Valley Estates”.
Therefore, anyone interested in running for the board must have a
short bio submitted by October 6th. Election ballots will be mailed on
October 27th to be returned by November 24th, and the 2026-2027 new Executive
board will be announced at the December 13th Annual Membership Meeting.
Late charges started being applied to delinquent accounts in April. If
you are behind or are not sure if you are behind, please reach out to
us. Letters have been sent to all delinquent accounts that we are
serious about bringing them current. We will work with you if the
need arises, but we need to hear from you ASAP.
Bark beetles have been reported here in the valley and properties that are not
fire-wise are subject to infestation resulting in a spread to the rest of
the valley. If you have a vacant lot that has not been maintained
(thinning of trees and shrubs), it could be subject to this type of
infestation. Contact us for more information on bark beetles.
If you have chickens please let us know and we will
get your contact information to Monika Martin who has graciously
volunteered to create some guidelines to allow chickens to be
permitted within the bylaws. This committee must be set up by the
end of October or those who currently have chickens will be in
violation of the CCRs.
