The second quarterly Membership Meeting will be on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Bonito Volunteer Firehouse on Highway 220. Invited to speak to our membership will be the Emergency Manager for the Village of Ruidoso and the Emergency Manager for Lincoln County.

If you are unable to attend the meeting but have questions, please contact us at the information above, and you can check the website for newsletters and other information.

RRVE is looking for someone to be the chairperson of the Welcome Committee. If you are interested, please call 575-336-2125. 

The Board is also looking for someone to organize a neighborhood picnic around Labor Day.

Kids are out of school for the summer! PLEASE DRIVE SLOWER through the community.

There has been vandalism at the park at the East end of the community. The tables and seats have been destroyed, and they will be removed permanently.

If you see dogs running loose “aggressive or not” in the community, please call the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office to report 575-648-2341.

CLEAN-UP DAY will be on July 25. A dumpster will be placed at the treatment plant on Custer’s Last Stand @ 8 am for residents to dispose of bigger items that do not fit in the polycarts.

No tires, liquid paints or solvents, motor oil, chemicals, batteries, commercial waste, ashes or fire debris.

What is accepted bagged household trash, furniture, appliances, grills, lawnmowers etc.

FIRE SAFETY TIP: Roofs are a very vulnerable part of the home. It is recommended to use a Class A fire-rated roof with materials like composition, metal, or tile.

RAISING CHICKENS TIP: Chicken coops need to be a comfortable environment and provide protection from predators. They should have adequate ventilation and good insulation, roosting bars about 2-3 feet tall, and one nesting in a dark area for every 3-4 chickens.
